My name is Matt Adams and I wanted to let you know a little more about my story and me. If you ask other people, they’ll probably tell you I’m one of the fastest growing experts in the field of personal and business success today…(and thanks to my amazing team, we’re growing everyday). I’ve been living my dream of changing the quality of life on this planet for the last 9 years and have been told I’ve done more by the age of 27 than most people do in an entire lifetime…so you can see why my passion is to get others to live the life of their dreams too. Follow me and I’ll show you how you can take your passion…one simple idea and create the life that others will only dream about just like I did; and I want you to do it for couple reasons: 1.Because YOU CAN…and there’s no glory in struggling or being poor… 2. So you can work with me to help make life on this planet better for others. (Because you can be a greater help to others when you’re in a stable position yourself.) A little about me… I started out with several strikes against me, I was held back in the first grade because I didn’t know how to read and I was made fun of constantly, being told I was too stupid. I had major confidence issues that held me back for many years of my life. Plus I had several teachers that just gave up on me and wanted to “pass me off” so I could be as they said “someone else’s problem” (Yeah that’s great programming for a kid to hear). Not to mention I came from a middle class family…and I’ll tell you why that was big strike in a second. I now spend my days having fun with other people and love watching them succeed where a week ago they thought they couldn’t. I’ve worked with all walks of life from CEO’s and entrepreneurs, to athletes, to parents and their children. To see them have this amazing breakthrough just because of a simple technique is the most exciting thing I can imagine. (And I live for excitement…anyone that knows me is always wondering what crazy activity I’m going to try next). That’s what’s wonderful though, is living life to the full extent possible and having fun every step of the way. You’ve only got one chance at this, so why not live on the highest level possible and have a great time while you’re here. The important thing to remember here is this…YOUR’E in control of your life. Anything you can imagine is possible for you to achieve, you’ve just got to figure out how to do it. And imagination is what’s created some of the most brilliant people on this planet. So back to the story… I grew up in a middle class family. We weren’t rich but we weren’t, as my dad would say “eating cat food behind the convention center”. It was just…you know…middle class. (Ironically the one class that’s beginning to disappear). Now there are tons of people that can honestly tell you they had a tough childhood growing up poor and having to live in an apartment with 3 other families; and it’s true they did. They overcame great obstacles to get where they are. A middle class family I think is even harder to generate success from. Here’s why... This is extremely important so pay attention! As humans we naturally seek pleasure and avoid pain. It’s called the pain/pleasure principle as you may or may not know. When you’re growing up poor it’s pretty easy to know what you don’t want to be doing for the rest of your life and so you’ve got awesome motivation to rise up from it because you don’t want to be there. For all the people that grew up in that environment that are huge successes today, they’ll tell you that they took one look around and knew they wanted more in their lives. I can imagine the motivation for that… Being in a middle class family I believe is even harder because of this one thing…IT'S A TRAP! That’s right, it’s a huge bear trap that will close around your ankle and never let go…and that trap is called complacency. When I was growing up I had a roof over my head and food in my mouth. I had clothes (no brand names) and I had toys to play with…here’s the catch…when you’re in an environment like that where life is good…there’s really no need to strive to achieve more. You might be in this situation right now. The challenge here is that when the economy shifts as time progresses (which it always does because time marches on) then you’re left in the dust because most people don’t change with the times. If you don’t change you’ll become extinct. So from being in a middle class family I had to struggle to break to lethargic cycle in my life of never really doing more than I had to. I had nothing to strive for and always thought if something didn’t happen for me, then I wasn’t that interested. It even showed up early since I’ve only had 1 job in my entire life and I only had that for 3 months and it was being the poor guy dressed up as Shamu at Sea World; which all by itself own is another story. I realized quickly that working for someone else wasn’t for me…but I wasn’t sure where I was going to go. I was like a ship without a rudder…going nowhere and getting nowhere. The only way I knew I had to change was as I got older and the money started running out. (Tip: The older you get the harder it is to convince your parents to give you money). I didn’t know what to do, so I made the best decision of my life; I moved from San Antonio, Texas my senior year of high school out to Los Angeles, California. I didn’t know anyone in California and I really didn’t know what I was doing either, however, it was a start though. So being new in a city with no friends and no family can be a little frustrating to say the least. I started to panic on a daily basis because of money and my ever-growing refusal to get a “real job”. I was fundamentally unemployable and to top it off I had a breakup with my girlfriend at the time, which sent me into a huge downward spiral and depression. It seemed like I was losing everything. It got so bad that I began not eating for days and completely shut the rest of the world out. I wouldn’t pick up my phone and couldn’t even think of the future. All I started to think was “What can I do so I’ll never feel this way again?” Have you ever felt that way? So I began to find comfort in a passion I’ve always had, which is human potential and how the mind works. I started reading all the books I could get my hands on. I went to seminars and studied the stuff day in and day out. For that time in my life, it was only a band-aid on a soon to be much bigger problem. I started feeling better and seeing my prospects start looking up…until I realized one day…I”VE GONE BROKE! It was bound to happen sooner or later. I had racked up tons of credit card debt going to these seminars and buying books. You might be able to relate to the idea of having absolutely ZERO money in the bank. I had cashed all the savings bonds except for about $300 my mom had stashed away for me from when I was a kid. I had bills that needed to be paid and rent that was due and then IT HAPPENED. Through all the stress and the frustration came an eerie calmness like the eye of a hurricane and I thought to myself “What’s the worst that can happen?” (Hint…this is an extremely powerful question). FEAR is the only thing holding people back from greatness and they are constantly making things worse than they ever would be in reality. This is using your imagination in an uber unproductive way. Then in that moment I realized that there was one single thing that I knew and that you know as well. It’s the one thing that is known everywhere and yet very few people do it. When I remembered this fact, everything became clear. The fact is this: In order to achieve greatness or any dream you can imagine…YOU MUST TAKE ACTION!! Simple I know, and mind blowing in its profoundness. To get anything you want in your life, you must take powerful massive action. It was then that I realized that I was more powerful than I could ever imagine. My ideas started to flow and I had opened up the floodgates for success in my life. With the $300 in savings bonds I was able to design the lifestyle I enjoy today. In only a few months I had completely paid off my credit cards and took my passion to the next level by creating a business. That business has grown greater than I ever thought possible and continues to flourish to this day even going onto an international level. And it’s all because of one thing…Taking ACTION! All this and more is possible for you. It doesn’t matter where you are right now, your level of experience or knowledge. You can still create the life of your dreams. As we’ve said time is and will continue to march on. You’ve got the opportunity right now to create your life the exact way you want it to be and to become an inspiration to others and help me change the quality of life on this planet. |
